I don't know where info is at but this is how he acquired it he said. The law stated that no nation could claim space but it did not say that a man or organization couldn't. So he wrote letters to every major organization that would have interest in owning space such as the UN and such asking if they would want to claim it. After like 25 years or so no one had responded to his letters which legally meant that they where not interested in claiming space so he now legally owned space. He sells plots on the moon and parts of space and stuff. I remember him saying on Conan O'brien that he sold large plots on the moon to Hilton hotels. The guy is stupid rich too.bkelsey86 wrote:
Actually you can buy part of the moon. A guy actually owns all of outerspace because he acquired it through a legal loophole so you have to buy through him. He was on Conan like a year or 2 ago.

Nobody owns space,
what happens if somebody else lives anywhere else?
Is he going to sue them ?
No court on our nice planet will be able to verify that he owns everything but earth.
Besides don´t you have to go to the place to claim it as your own and settle down there, that´s how it used to be about 1100years ago.Gunni
