FIREFOX!!! vent

ARGHHHH!!!!

So yesterday I downloaded firefox 4 becasue all my friends were digging it.

Well, I hated it and went back to firefox 3.6. But I used a weird version off of the mozilla directory. Anyways it installs smootly and all and Im fine.

Well now today I open my internet and all my bookmarks on the toolbar are gone, plus the 75 or so more that are off on the side. FFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUU

So I restart my computer, but with no luck. I try to restore firefox, but it cant read the file. I cant find the file to manually open. FFFUUU again

And to top it off, it WILL NOT save any new bookmarks I place on the bookmarks toolbar.

This why I back up all my bookmarks about once a month.

No they arent porn, none of it is. I have something else for that..

No I have a bunch of random links, like AWESOME boutique clothes shirts, and lots of BMW fan websites, stuff like that.

And firefox automatically backs up it self once a day, but it wouldn't read the backup files... but I found another way around that

I too have to complain about firefox.... cause the "home" button moved from the left side of the screen to the right side, and my favorite folders that I had for hot-linking disappeared.... RAWR.... firefox



BTW: this is a real complaint, but its from when I upgraded to Natty Narwhal, so ohh well..

Firefox has been pissing me off lately too. It's taking forever to load and usually takes multiple opens before it opens the first window then pops up two or three windows at once. I like it better than chrome but I'm seriously considering saying fuck it.

Mine has been fine. Its when I went to 4 and used the wrong one to change back that I GAVE MYSELF the problems.

I dont use the favortes/bookmarks that way. I just use the toolbar

Well I have like 10 main ones that I like to check out, had made a 2 different folders for them, like having them right there below the address bar for quick access. Speeds up my internet browsing. Most days I only get like 30 minutes or so for being on my laptop, need to make the most outa it.
