    New toy!

It certs cat6 in 12 seconds, soo much faster than the old DTE model I have been using. Now we just need a duplex optical certifier. It sucks having to drive down to the other end of the fiber to trade places.

Also if any Hotlanta E30ers wanna meet up for a beer (can people on here drink?) I MIGHT be spending a week and a half in ATL, we opened a new office there and they cant keep up. I'd be going down to help out. No E30 though, flying and getting a rental most likely.
    Im now E30less.

Im not certain at the moment. The project on my plate at the moment is wrapping up and I might have to put out another fire before I go. I do know its going to be before the week of the 15th because I go back to school.

I'm in Chattanooga (and old enough to drink), and my g/f is working in Atlanta so let me know when. I'm down there a lot.

I can't drink, but that doesn't mean I won't come shoot the shit. I'm free before the 12th.

Its a very expensive and very fast network testing and certification device. It even measures lengths and estimates bends so you can use it with an HP software to actually draw the network topology from the closet.

What the fuck did you call me? I'll show you a topology!

                            :)

Cool stuff. I'd be interested in knowing how the hell it works. Must take the speed of the signal and figure out the length depending on how long it takes to get from one to the other, or something.
