    I restore really old European cars. Always get crap in my eyes despite wearing safety glasses, lots of cuts, burns and bruises and my rotator cuff is shot. I love it though. Still smoke but quit drinking a couple of years ago.

    I always manage to get something in my eye when working under the car. I hate safety goggles but if I do wear them shit still bounces around, goes inside the goggles and rolls down into my eye like a pinball machine.

    Today while using my cutting wheel to cut aluminum spacers for my sway bars it stuck in the piece I was cutting (secured with my sandaled foot of course). I grabbed the piece quickly. The grinder started back up and threw the cutting wheel into a million pieces - the biggest of which hit me in the neck and stuck in the ceiling of teh garage.

    I grabbed my neck quickly repeating, please no blood, PLEASE NO BLOOD.....no blood, just a bruise.

    Greatest part about it is I was actually wearing safety glasses!

    I'll add a photo of the piece in the ceiling tomorrow....lol!
