It's a funny thing really. I've gotten roughly 8 or 9 of these notices from my ISP. I'm paying for the highest tiered internet speed 50mbit/5mbit through Time Warner Cable.

The fact of the matter is, they don't want to lose me as a customer giving them close to 250$ a month for all of my services. They're making 3000$ annually on my account, and because of that, I just don't give a fuck.

I used to use VPN services to route my traffic through, but I've stopped doing that altogether. I simply use peerblock and crank out 1080p movies non-stop.

Depends on what torrent program you are using, but there should be a setting for max number/amount of seeds kind of thing. Set it so it never seeds.

I have mine to seed only until I reach 110%, then stop as I have a limited amount of bandwidth sadly.
