I recently ditched my iphone 4 in favor of an atrix. I had grooveshark installed on my iphone 4 (jailbroken app) and was paying for VIP services (which my month just ran out right when I got my atrix)

After rooting and setting up my phone the first thing I did was install grooveshark, only to find it didn't play any songs... Googled a bit and found everyone with a newer droid and specifically an atrix was having the same issues. Supposedly and update was on the way.

I emailed grooveshark last friday night asking if the update was out, and I was just having the same problem, or if it was not out yet.

Monday morning I get an email back, letting me know the update will be out the end of the month, or early next month, and the customer service rep even gave me 3 months of free VIP when it starts working on my phone again.

Why can't every company work like this? They are gonna get my $9 a month for a long time.

That being said. How is the atrix? I didn't like the atrix's 5mp camera. So I went with the inspire instead. Only thing I wish it had was the "laptop" dock. would be so damn perfect then.

I like it, the camera is good enough for me its comparable to my iphone 4. I don't have the laptop dock or a dock yet, but you can enable the webtop via hdmi after you root it, then just use a bluetooth keyboard and mouse. I've only had it for a few days so I'm still messing around with it.

Overall I like it much more than my iphone, texting is so much better and the ability for an extra 32gb in storage doesn't hurt my feelings.

I own my own business repairing computers and phones, and after playing with so many nice droids I came to despise my iphone more and more. That being said I never did like the iphone 4, my 3gs was way nicer just didn't have a damn flash for the camera which made it worthless.

Blunt are you running another business we do not know about?

That is sweet though it is really good when they help out like that, I try to stay with local companies for that reason, I can't stand big corp's and when you need help you are redirected to an indian call centre were you can't understand them and nothing gets done.

you can hook it up to a monitor with a dock and use it like you would an underpowered computer.

everything costs less.
A lot of stuff is free (Especially OS upgrades)
All while having better reception
Better build quality
and supporting something other than apple.
Oh, and you don't need to use Itunes.
