    Laws on rejected inspection?

I got pulled over in my E30 for having a rejected inspection. I have the emissions paper within the correct tome and had all the papers to back up the rejected sticker but the cop gave me a ticket for "not having proper repairs." WTF? I'm pretty sure that if you have the rejected sticker and have it within the rejected limit and have the paperwork, you're fine?

As long as you get your car fixed and reinspected within the allotted time in the paperwork, you should be fine. Just fight it and it should be an easy win.

Yea. Even though I fixed the exhaust I still haven't been reinspected so a state trooper could still be a dick and give me a ticket. We have 60 days to fix and reinspect even though our rejection sticker says expire 2012. At least that's what I've been told.
Ma che cazzo state dicendo? :|

Cops here in Vegas will write you up for ANYTHING now...whether it makes sense or not.

Nevada is so broke, they are taking the bet that most people will just pay the ticket, and move on. Not many people will take a day off of work to go fight an $80 ticket. Broken windshield, light out.... anything.

Its like helping a jew hide out in 1930's France.... You sneak around town, hoping not to see a cop. And if you do, you turn your head, whistle a tune, and don't make eye contact hoping he'll just pass you by.

State to state rules are different in some cases. Look up said section number that he cited you for.
