I laughed when I read the thread title.
I'll go sit five minutes in the time-out corner now.

I have never had anything scrape on my 318 on H&R races and 15mm drop hats on east coast Canadian roads. I've even had it down through NJ/NY and never had anything other than maybe the exhaust.

...but how did you manage to do that? Pothole? Speed bump?
I busted mine w/o a plate @ a gas station, accidentally reversed over a ground valve.

Damn gas stations.... haven't they gouged us enough?

H&R OEM Sports did the trick for my m42. Nice taught & subtle drop. Makes street driving so much smoother and faster. I can drive hard rally style w/o flailing around the road trying to avoid little bumps and manhole covers. E30 M3 springs work too, some sets are starting to sag. Fresh springs were just what i needed. Avoid BavAuto springs like the plague.

Nice! I'm planning the exact same set up in a month or two and was a little worried about that. Still gonna drive extremely careful though.

That sucks. Those are responsible for my closest call ever, thankfully the huge bang wasn't followed by black tears. Just imagining the cost of an S38 oil pan gives me shivers.
