Kudos for getting in shape, but there is nothing wrong with taking these in moderate dosages in conjunction WITH exercise. Pills are no replacement for physical exertion and a good diet. Do all 3 and you will get your results quicker.
No thanks. I have grown to love the hard way.

guys, i know what im getting into. this isn't some sort of take these pills and continue with my lfiestyle, no....there is definately a lifestyle change associated with and i am using this stack as a kick start.
i did a lot of research, this was recommended by plenty of friends, several who have degrees in kinesiology or biology and work in/have worked in gyms.

as for the ECA, the aspirin i choose to leave out. haven't read or heard anything that says it really helps with weight loss.

also not trying to bounce from one supplement stack to another, i feel this will work for me, and i plan to stick to ALONG with a rigid workout and a stringent diet.

thanks guys for adding in your stories and info. good to have collective knowledge on the subject so others can read and not just get a one sided view.

I wouldn't mess with that stuff personally. I highly recommend oxy elite pro, it was $42 at Gnc and helped get those abs cut up. Of course that's in addition to clean diet, running 5-6 miles per week.

You realize that the main ingredient in most OTC fat burners that work is mauhung (caffeine ) ephedra (herbal ephedrine), hoodia, and various other roots.

It is no worse than what he is doing, although I would recommend getting pure ephedrine VS the decongestant stuff.

Your correct that the aspirin won't help you lose any weight. It's just there to help manage your blood pressure, and balance out the decrease in serum potassium in your blood caused by the ephedrine. I'm not saying that you shouldn't use the drugs in your stack, only that you should find a friendly pharmacist or doctor who may be willing to advise you on the dosing for your weight and state of health, and explain why the drugs are often used together b/c it is clear that you don't truly have an understanding of the interaction between the drugs that your trying to take advantage of for weight loss.

Low serum potassium in the bloodstream is also known as Hypokalemia.
"Two major side-effects of hypokalemia affect the cardiovascular system: hypokalemia-related hypertension and hypokalemia-induced ventricular arrhythmias. Both contribute to increased morbidity and mortality."

I have always wondered if ibuprofen would have that same effect or are the mechanisms too dissimilar.

                The pharmacist says-

"both asprin and lbuprofin will inhibit prostaglandin synthesis but only the asprin will inhibit platelet aggregation"

I'm not even sure I understand what that means as it's several notches above my paygrade but I'd personally interpret it as "stick with the asprin". At least until I can get her to explain in depth the effects of platelet aggregation in the bloodstream.

Simple explanation is aspirin is a blood thinner, and ibuprofen is not. The aspirin will inhibit clotting more so than ibuprofen.

going to the gym and working out, taking supps, all of that, can be completely negated by 1 salad and 1 serving of low fat ranch dressing

its a total lifestyle change, a magic pill won't keep the weight off long term

completely agree! diet is everything. every book i've read says weight loos/appereance is 75-85% diet and 25-15% gym time, most importantly cardio.

honestly, i have low to none self-control when it comes to diet. i love fatty foods and sweets and all the friend goodness ever invented. it doesn't help that i work in a professional kitchen where these items are ALWAYS within reach. im making a choice to better myself here. i grew up chubby, got in shape two years ago, got in accident one year ago and let myself go back to old habbits for various reasons. NEVER going back.

One thing you need you need to concider also since you mentioned being in an accident, were/are you on any opiate pain killers?

The opiates will mess with your hormonal levels and some times actually suppress test levels. I have always been in good shape, and after my accident and subsequent 15 surgeries I packed on a lot of body fat and water retention for no reason.

I was still doing tons of cardiovascular, but unable to lift. When I finally was able to again, within 6 months I was back in good shape and the strength was almost back to pre
                            Accident stregnth.

Then after another round of eight surgeries the same thing again even though I was doing. Lots of cardiovascular again.

Then I had another round of 8the surgeries and bam same thing all over again
