Hmm... I don't really like how they're playing cops. The last thing I would be doing is following her and making her go even more crazy like they did. Plus after the hit, the guy floors it and starts driving like she was before, and even though he was a witness, he has no right to be hunting her down and breaking the law. I'm not defending what she did.
Is this an advertisement for the camera company hoping it'll go viral?
I've seen a couple vids like this, usually hit another car though, and I really don't like the idea of civilians trying to be cops because they have a damn camera.

He's not "trying to be a cop." Its called doing the right thing.

I'm not talking about control over the car, but the fact that a kid can run across the street because the "poser cop" doesn't have sirens, lights, and training to drive like that in city streets. Nor does he have the legal right to apprehend her or stop her. Ethical yes, not legal.
He already had all evidence and it would've been much better if he'd helped his passenger take care of the pedestrian.

I think what this guy did was perfectly acceptable. There was a guy weaving between lanes on a local busy road here and there was a motorcyclist that he didn't see that he knock right off the road into a gas station parking lot. The guy braked and so did other cars but he drove right off so my dad dipped through the gas station to that side of the intersection and followed him about 2 miles until a local cruiser nabbed him.

No longer stock ride height, rolling as low as a daily driver in New England should without worrying about breaking an oil pan.

Coming from personal experience I have assisted in the apprehension and arrest of a drunk driver by doing much of the same.
I was coming home late from my shop, while driving minding my own I notice a F-150 on my ass, then backing off then right back on my ass.
I then let him pass by pulling over, and he's all over the road. At first I said I need to get the eff out of here, then it hit me. I need to call the cops, so I did and then proceeded to follow him around while on the phone with two different city dispatchers until the police found his location.
He had pulled over and parked as he was suspicious of me following him. The cops waited for him to get back in his truck, and attempt to drive before they made the stop.
The two arresting officers thanked me, and I left knowing I made a difference.
Playing cop no, possibly saving someones life yes.
