I've been thinking about buying a pair, haven't roller skated for about 13 years. While I could use some useful info on the current market, asking about it on an E30 forum wouldn't be my first step.

There is a giant bin full of inline skates at the local thrift store, I kinda chuckle every time I see it. could probably find a fanny pack in there too if I looked for it. Why would you want roller skates?Comment

I used to skate for a company called MINDGAME till they closed their doors a couple years ago. When I rolled with them, I skated in nothing but Remz. I loved the first edition and bought three pairs. It would be hard finding these, but they are amazing skates. Also, Remz have some newer styles, always a great choice.
Some other good skates are made by a buddy of mine Jon Julio, his company name is VALO. These are expensive, quality skates for serious shit. If you just want bullshit around and not grind or do anything, get some generic K2's or Senates.
