Anyone done this? No way in hell I'd put up my quirky E30's oil pan for any random douchebag to break, but my mom decided to sign up with her cars. Seems kind of sketchy to me; how reliable is the insurance, and what happens when the renter hoons the shit out of the car and you need a clutch job/transmission?
Just curious of the enthusiast's view on this. If you seem competent I have zero problems letting you drive my car. But I wouldn't just put it up for rent for anyone (in my car's case it is a bit finicky and shitbox-y for the average person to want to rent).
