    Charlie and The Chocolate Factory

Yes? No? Its totaly a pro-communism movie. All the Oompa Loompas working for the common good, the greedy capitalist children being "disposed of" and the capitalist underdog being "saved" by communism…. not forgetting the dictator Willy Wonka himself who "saves" the Oompa Loompas then only pays them with cacao beans, and refuses to listen to criticism or question from the parents and children….

    Try and disagree.

    I bombed Korea every night.

Have you ever heard of the Wizard of Oz, that move wasn't just about some farm girl washing up in the land of the little people and goin for a walk to the emerald city with; a lion, a scaredcrow, and a tin man.

                    Fawking smart folk.

Always reading too deep into things. You're like women - you can't jsut take shit at face value, you gotta read into it and figure out what they REALLY mean.

Sometimes "nothing" is really what we're thinking about too. Imagine that.

ya, but it's based on a book that is literature. And the difference between fiction and literature, is literature has meaning.

It does seem like the story could be a metaphor for communism, but the newest incarnation of the film was obviously aimed toward children... so who cares?

Willy Wonka is extremely juvenile and dysfunctional in the new movie. I have no idea what Depp or Burton was going for, expect Michael Jackson perhaps.

                            There's your answer to everything.

And where is Rob? His anti-Che picture is excellent and he needs to speak up in this ghey thread.
