Just trying to put it into perspective. These are the types of ideas that push people into religions/cults.
There has to be something "more" to this world right?Your signature picture has been removed since it contained the Photobucket "upgrade your account" image.

I was trying to keep posts like yours down to a minimum but look what I'm doing now, o well.
I was under the impression (because you wanted people to take it seriously) that you were all about what you posted. You believe it or want to believe it.
I didn't say it was the same as Scientology. It's similar to an idea within Scientology. Except they think they can do it individually. And only once they reach a certain level of "awareness". Same crazy shit with no proof behind it basically.
Now let's just hope some swami (I.E. A Hubbard type) doesn't enter your life and lead you on a wild goose chase into the realities of unreality. It's stinks of the beginnings of indoctrination.
If I'm wrong and you're not actually taking that seriously, then I apologize.Your signature picture has been removed since it contained the Photobucket "upgrade your account" image.

In 300 years, we will have a civilization that founded a religion on that paper, and will be running around, not trying to appease a "God", but to try to do the right thing and not fuck up their future offspring's well being.
Maybe they will control peoples actions without GOD, but with, "Don't have unprotected sex, you might give your great-great-great granddaughter the herp."

Honestly, my approach to life right now is 'trying' to achieve the greatest balance from everything. As shit as that sounds, with this kind of stuff it just means that I won't immediately dismiss or believe right away. This was more of something interesting to talk about with my friend, so I felt like it would be cool to share with the rest of r3v.
Cheers for the good read, if anything else.

Yes I was raised with the bullshit. Took me 21 years to see some real hard flaws and another 14 wondering why other Scientologists didn't see what I was seeing.

Balance is good. In the religion/spiritual sense I dismiss everything and only take what I can see and know from my own experiences. There may be way more about this world we will ever know. But some people fall for ideas because it makes them feel "special" or that there's something more to their simple life than just what they experience. Like they can be a part of a larger group of people that are trying to make things "better". That makes them susceptible to religion/cults. That's when they also leave themselves open to ideas they wouldn't normally accept. Then they retire the logic meter altogether.Your signature picture has been removed since it contained the Photobucket "upgrade your account" image.
