Those volvo pushrods engines are so bulletproof. Pushrod design is so simple too... pulling a head is very easy

not very baller, my e30 doesnt run. (75 hour paycheck coming at end of month to make it run :D:D:D)
my w123 has an issue with it... wont ignite, got some good insight, replacing both fuel filters and possibly a valve adjustment and it should fire up.
this, might just be my moms new car haha, for the time being at least.

when i bought it i beleive the thermostat was malfunctioning, and after about a month of driving it, the head gasket blew. even tho i wasnt very far past the 1/2 way mark most the time. so a simple thermoastat priced at 12$ is gonna cost me a head gasket job.... -_- so im going to order the parts i need and probably a TB and WP and take it all apart, have a machine shop mill it flat for 125$ (i was going to have them rebuild the whole thing including valves and stuff but the guy said it would be around 700$$)
then put it back together with new parts and gaskets.

Yeah I wouldnt do a whole rebuild. Waste of money imo.

Fix these things as they go, and do basic maintenance along the way.

But if engine dies again on you, 24valves.
