    Virgin Mobile

I considering switching from T-mobile to Virgin mobile. I'm tired of paying a 100 bucks a month for a phone. Virgin Mobile has a plan : 300 anytime minutes and unlimited/uncapped data for 45 bucks. It looks like Virgin mobile piggybacks on Sprints network and I know from from experience Sprint has excellent coverage. Another big seller for me is the new Motorola Triumph.

Has anybody used Virgin mobile? Horror Stories? It seems like a really good deal to me. Let here some of your opinions.

I have it, but mine is only 25 bucks a month for 300 min and unlimited data...

The Samsung Intercept is, perhaps, the worst Android phone in the world. I think I will up grade to that motorola.

Edit: They upped their prices??!! WTF?!

Also have the 300 min, unlimited data for $25/mo. They just jacked that up for $35/month for new users but the phones are cheaper. With Skype on my phone I don't even come close to using up all 300 minutes. The data coverage is excellent. I was able to run Pandora and a few other data intensive apps pretty much everywhere on the west coast.

Depends on your area, sprint is a god damn joke around here. If you're going to go with them I would recommend boost over virgin, $50 unlimited and you can get a droid.

I also have Virgin on the 300min/unlimited data for $25. dont know if they jacked the prices, but I do know that if you need more airtime, you can easily swap plans to one of the others. Had Virgin for better than 3 years with no issues.

Yup, it will stay $25/mo forever even if we replace phones. I'm happy with my optimus v.

Awesome! I wish I had waited, literally weeks, and gotten that instead of this piece of crap intercept. At times I just want to pelt it at the nearest brick wall...

Guy at work has Virgin Mobile and gets the same amount of coverage as my Verizon LG Revolution. We work in a grocery store overnight and on the one side of the store I don't get service to send texts, but I have service to get on the internet. He has service for internet AND texting which royally pisses me off because I pay 100 a month and he pays 25. I have a 600 dollar phone, he has a 150 dollar phone, fuck my life.

i left verizon and their 150 a month phone for Boost, 60 bucks a month for my blackberry (minus 10 bucks a month for auto pay) making it 50 a month, and phone works everywhere in dallas and everywhere ive ever needed my phone while travelling.

i now pay 600 a year vs verizon's 1800 a year. To hell with that noise
I can run Auto Checks on VINs for tips/donations:
PM me VIN(s) and I'll get you ALL the public recorded info that I have available.

All depends on where you live as far as service coverage. Where I live Sprint is SHIT, and where I used to live it went to SHIT. If you travel away from your home area a lot the roaming can add up on the lower cost carriers.

I hate it cuz its expensive and shit CS, but I have VZN, but it works nearly every where I go, and work all over the place and I need to have a phone that works,.
