I think being on a cell phone slowed me down a little. I also got a little bored with the text and my eyes started to glaze over so I had to reread a few sentences. The comprehension test does a very poor job at evaluating understanding. All the questions were about numbers and weather or not I can remember specific numbers doesn't evaluate comprehension very well.

I am capable of speed reading effectively but it takes way too much concentration and I typically only do it when I'm looking over documents that I'm about to sign, and even then never for more than a few pages at a time.

I never did this test, I do advanced tests that show a better over all score. The fastest I can go is about 2,400wpm and retain about 45%. Anymore than that and I don't gather enough info and it becomes useless to do it for me.

This test is honestly a joke and the questions are simple if you have common sense and picked up on numbers, name(people, locations) and dates.
