The Slender Man originated from a photo contest thread on SomethingAwful.com, where participants were challenged to create fake photos with some kind of supernatural figure/being/image, with the intent to trick members of notable paranormal websites into thinking they were authentic. Slender Man was the subject of the photo that became the most popular, and is now an infamous internet meme/legend.

lol i still think the idea of the "slender man" is pretty darn cool, along with the image.
it would be dope to get slender man tattoo'd up your rib cage, or calf.

but i do realize it is teh fatty trollz.
and the marble hornets series, i stopped at #33.
it was very intriguing but became way to fake once that girl became involved, may pick it up later who knows.
