    FWD engine in a rwd car?

    Will a FWD engine work with a rwd car? Or would it just be a pain to convert? Soo please help me out people!

    well in what cars, what engine? Engines like a KA24 appear in both types of car..

        Can't do it, the transmission configuration won't work.

          If you do that, then you would have AWD. True story.

            only way it will work as if you put the motor and trans into the trunk, and power the rear wheels there.

                  Only if the same engine can be found in the other variant. You would have to source mounts, pan, etc for it to work.

                          So long as it's the same engine then yes. You'll just have to keep any parts that are different like mounts, oil pan, etc. as mentioned above.
