FML, i put orders in for a couple of tablets the night of the big sale and got a couple rejections. So i figured all was done and i didnt worry about it anymore because i just picked some up in the store... well i got conformation numbers just now in my email. so now im broke and have tablets coming in the mail.. YAY

Exactly. And while a tablet would be cool to have, I really can't see a practical application for one.

What I'd much rather have is a netbook, because then I can also use it for work. A lot of times when I'm doing an internet install, the people don't have their computer there yet, and it would be awesome be able to show them that their internet is working!

It is tempting at that price point, but I will pass. I have found that unless you are already interested in a rather big-ticket item like that, if you make rash decisions based on sale prices you will generally be disappointed.
