at least he is paying for the car. I know a girl in my town who is 16 years old and her parents got her a 2011 camaro. it isnt an SS but still better than what most 16 year olds have.

Pictures are cool, but I do hate Chevys. We got a camaro in on trade at the bmw dealership I work at and it is a 2010 with 5k miles on it and the dash trim is pealing off and the trunk liner is coming out already.

I dont like the New Camaro. But I never liked the 4th gens either (although they was never ment to look like the older cars). Now i got one and love them! Maybe in 10 years my opinion will change about them. But i do love the new Challenger and Mustang.

The Challenger and Mustang's look great IMHO, the Camaro looks "plastic-ky" if you know what I mean? Like a model or something.

I don't think it's really ugly or anything, but it's definitely nothing special looking... it's no Challenger.

You should tell your friend that its great he can work hard and "afford" a car like that, but it sure isn't wise. Being that young, he should really be stacking money and not blowing his wad on such a depreciating hunk of metal.

Where did you get $40k+?? The SS starts at $31k. It's still a lot of money for a 19yr old but if he can swing it props to him.
