Yup, the game is awesome.

Took some time to load up both discs, my free content from LC edition and BestBuy pre-order crap, import my (miniscule) Forza3 content and start racing.

Was running through the career mode - Got through the first 2 seasons and half way through the 3rd with primarily the Ford Ka I picked up. And then I started buying out the BMW dealership... Have most of the non-racecars now (I just started on the left and worked my way through, making sure I got the 1M, 2012 M5, E46/E36 M3s).

Building cash is easy - and building 'affinity' is the best thing to do, since as soon as you get a car to hit level 4, all upgrade parts for that manufacturer are free!!!

And I agree, this game is great, without the assists on - first 'race' that popped up still have 100 assist on - auto brake/steering... took all the fun out of it.

I was a little disappointed I didn't get a badge or achievemetn or something for doing multiple barrel rolls in my Ka... Curbs and super-stiff suspension apparently don't mix with that car.... If I can figure out how to post the vid, I will. Damage cost more than my winnings....


Good move on making the other thread for all the gamertags - it'll help immensely.

Does someone who wants to set-up a E30/BMW racing group want to also start a thread specific to that? That way it wont get lost in all of these "OMFG BBQ THIS GAME IS AWESOME" posts... :D

Alright guys Im gonna back out of the r3v club. Me and a buddy had already started a group on fm3 that we called "Fuji Kingz" it started from us racing fuji in 80s an 90s jdm and euro cars with equal to or less than 250 hp and equal to or more than 2500lbs. It makes for some really good races on fuji. So I would like if its possible for us to basically be brother clubs. My buddy would just join the r3v club but hes not on r3vlimited nor does he have an e30. If anyone wants to join to join fuji kingz sent me a request dankosoruswrekz.

A class e30 with e36 engine is fun. Playing around with e30/awd/v8 S class pretty fun, shit gets out of hand quick with all assists off!
