    Na'Pali Coast/Yosemite Pictures...

I thought I posted these after my trip to Kaua'i and then to California to backpack Yosemite, here are the Kaua'i pictures:

Hey everyone, thought some of you might enjoy these pictures from my recent adventure out to the Na'Pali Coast in Kaua'i. Its an 11 mile hike out to the end, and it's BEAUTIFUL. I underestimated the hike, and brought more than needed making the 11 miles of up, down, up, down, etc (in the mud) pretty tough. Spent 3 days out there. Enjoy!

So after the 4 days on Kaua'i I headed back home to Oahu for a week and then flew to California for some more fun. I was supposed to go home to Massachusetts for a couple weeks, tickets were super expensive and I decided to take some time to myself and do some backpacking. It was a hell of a time!

Wouldn't be a trip to California without In 'N' Out!

Ahhhhh we made it! I've missed this place!!

            My buddy's trusty steed

mmmmmm! Spent the night in the valley, camping, looking at stars, listening to the river, and enjoying some Sierra Nevada!

Next morning we got our back country permits and headed out!

            Having some fun!

Day 4 in the Yosemite back country, the previous day we got caught in a nasty snow storm, and it was COLD that night.

            Headed to Cloud's Rest

Taking in one last sunset in Yosemite

Half Dome in the early morning light (Day 5)

            Headed back to the valley

            Done!

Yeah that happened after I left, I did hear about it. I also read about lots of bear attacks in Yellowstone, they come down to the campsites looking for food and have been attacking visitors

I've done both hikes as well. They are in my top 5. Did you see any naked hikers on the Na Pali hike? I saw a few hotties. The only downside to the hike were the helicopters. Kinda took away from the feeling of remoteness. Great pics.

bears have been messing with a lot of back country hunters in Nothern ID/MT line and down in the Gallatin valley west yellowstone area this year as well.
