I coulda gotten one cause my friend called me saying they had a lot in stock @ Fry's electronics, he woulda picked one up for me, but I had doubts...now I have regrets :-C

The android OS on it is already out right? I saw on youtube someone put Cyanogen Mod on it, looks cools n hella fast!!

WebOS is a very promising platform and with Microsoft looking to back it I'll be suprised if HP really let's it die. There are rumors that the PC component of HP (which is about to be sectioned off) may pick it back up again thanks to the huge buying rush!

I loved webOS when I still had my palm pre. Hands down one of the best mobile OS's to date. Enjoy it.

Im still looking for some. No luck, but I havent been beating it up hard.

HP is doing really really really weird shit right now. Do not understand their motives.

It really is. I am hoping one of the bigger companies will pick Palm up and keep it going.

Palm as a whole is probably dead, but I think other applications of the WebOS platform (tablets etc) will see a lot more development. With Windows Phone 7 gaining marketshare, and Nokia converting to Android/Windows, I really don't see a viable market for Palm. It's part of the reason RIM is failing so badly now.

Yea don't think Palm will make anymore hardware for a while if at all but I do want to see WebOS in other toys. I want it on the new Amazon tablet.

Guys who say you are looking after it being basically two weeks: it ain't gonna happen.

I got mine and I do like the webOS for what I'm using it for. I used to bring my laptop to school and now I just kick out the touchpad when I have downtime at uconn since I wasn't doing actual work while on campus.
