To be completely honest though, that ref should've just got the fuck out of there. I've been to soccer games here and they get really out of hand. Sometimes the refs just call the game and fucking leave.. they are legitimately scared.

Without a doubt the coaches who wouldnt let it go were to blame. I've Reffed a soccer game (10 year olds...) and while we (me and my sister) were driving away, a parent reached in the car and grabbed the steering wheel and tried to stop us. Since my sister was driving I told her to stop and jumped out of the car and got in the parent's face cuz i was raging that he even got near my sister. Needless to say, cops were called and the parents were banned from going to their childs games for a few years.

The game was an easy job too, being 10 year olds. O well
