e30s in video games

I think they are featured in one or some of the forza games, and I know they are in the Caterham-WTCC (e30 m3) and Enthusia (e30 m3 evo, I think). I did not know until recently that you can replace the cars in need for speed games, so I´m playing most wanted again with a garage full of bmws and other awesome cars! M1, 3 generations of M3, E30 320i, even a 3.0 CSL.
I wonder why they did not include such a legendary car in games as Gran Turismo and others.

I think bmw has alot of licensing controls on games their cars are in. I have always wondered why bmw is one of the only cars in forza where you cant swap motors between cars

I never played Forza, but everybody speaks wonders about them. Too bad you can´t swap motors in BMW just as in other makes. Does Forza have only M3 or other e30 models as well?

forza only has the M3 version of the E30.

The only thing I still like about forza is the customization but nfs shift 2 has the e30 m3 ive got a v10 or v12 swapped into it

Shift 2 has a whole line of BMWs to choose from, E30 M3, E36 M3, E46, E92, it's got the E86 & E89 Z4, the M6 and the 3.0 CSL if you buy the legends pack.

The shift series is actually pretty good once you get the setup right with a proper wheel. Turn off driver aides, remove the deadzone and toss sensitivity up to 100% set the cars up with a proper alignment and they drive nicely, it's easily got one of the best "racing" engines in terms of actual on track behavior and AI of any of the major sim games.

Well personally... Ive been huge forza nut till Forza 3. I was so disappointed in that game that i sold my xbox and all the games i had for it to switch over to the PS3 and GT5, which was more enjoyable (for me at least). After a couple months I sold my PS3 to my half brother cause his broke but i still play GT5 whenever i go up to my dads house.

Anyway if you like racing online with people I suggest Forza (and dealing with 15 year olds every now and then) . If you like racing by yourself or with the AI, I suggest GT5.

bmws dont have a large presence in video games for some reason but it shouldnt really affect your decision of the game unless youre that loyal towards bmw.
