I'm not sure where I saw it, it may have been posted on here or somewhere else. Actually it may have been in a Vice Guide to Travel if anyone has seen that series. And it was talking about guys over in the middle east somewhere, perhaps Libya, that have this sort of underground racing community.

The thing about it was getting cars from one country to another was near impossible because of the laws and what not of crossing into the nieghbouring country. So they would smuggle in parts and at night drive out to a big tarmac lot next to the boarders and drift around in their cars which were made up with a ton of illegal parts as a way to show off to the guards. Or something along those lines. I'll try to find it, it was interesting.

Come to think of it I may have seen that before I was into E30's so they might have been driving one.

last place? the mid-east is flooded with e30's and alot of other bimmers. i know this is in africa but it is considered an arab country. last time i was in jordan, the majority of the cars "hooked up" were bimmers.
