I bmx'd when I was younger and I would love to get another bike to ride but I wouldn't even know where to start when building one.

What are some quality brands these days? Ive been tossing around the idea of building one over the winter.

used to ride, still do occasionally, not anything spectacular, but i can flow around a park and ride a bowl/halfpipe pretty decently

although, back when i was fully into riding it was VWs and BMX

I used to race my Mosh, but didn't really last very long after I got my licence. Now I'm 6'3" 210lbs. I would make my bike look like those finger bikes.

It still is. Few years back at the local contest I counted around 25 MkIV's out in the lot as well a handful of MkII and III's.

I use to race bmx back in 1985/86/87 and doing alittle freestyle on the side. I got a 96 mongoose expert 21 inch frame bmx bike from my brother in 99 when he got divorced. I ride it often on and off. A friend of mine just bought a freeagent 24 inch cruiser and wants me and him to start racing again. He raced back when i use to race in the 80's.

I bmx whenever I get the chance. Racing/ freestyle every chance I get. I run a bike store so my days are devoted to bikes bimmers and bitches.
