      Gee, how convenient...

      2 questions

      1. How much is the course?

      2. How hard is it to find work in the south florida area?

its good money, in a college town not always as much though as you have to rely on quantity rather then quality of tips. i think its a great life skill though, I have a full time grown up job now, but still bartend for side money
Now look, I am not evil. My loan officer said so.

Theres different courses to take. If you have a jumping fun/serious/professional personality you will go far in the tip world.

I've made 120 bucks a night just working at fridays where you don't need experience nor do you have to say a word to customers.

The rule I wen't by "make each customer feel like they know you personally just by your gestures and how you deliver"

I went the route of starting as a barback and working my way up to bartender. It's good for learning if you have little experience in the field.

I will say be careful though. You mention being in college, so I'll tell you what one of the managers still tells me. "Get out while you can." The money at the end of every shift can be very appealing. I have my degree, but I'm still working full time at the bar because it's fun, good money, and I haven't been able to find a mechanical engineering job yet.
