    Night Owls of the North: ** Attention**

    Thanks to the sun being a little cranky lately Tonight 9/10/11 will be a great night to see the Aurora (Northern Lights) Other than the full moon will make it a little bright still should be a good show approaching midnight and beyond

    PNW/Nor Cal boarder will be the cut off in the west and about KY/Oh line will be the cut off in the east. The further north and further out from light pollution the better the show will be. For those of you on the southern edges of this you may have to get outta town to see them at all with the city scape lights and the full moon may over power the Aurora.

        I lived in Alaska for over a year and never saw the lights - huge bummer. 08-09 was a quiet solar year.
