        Everything depreciates.

        It's a tough business to crack, but if you do, it could be a very prosperous venture. My buddy owns a shop on Haight here in San Francisco and makes a six figure salary. What does he sell? He has three tables of shirts, about 20 designs in total, all goofy ass designs marketed towards pot heads. In addition to t-shirts, his shop is full of local art that helps his ambiance and of course is income. A major plus is that the artist give him the art on consignment.

        Market research + Market manipulation = $$$$
