okay, so a question to you watch gurus

i need to replace the batteries in a watch i really like but the back plate is polished smooth and i have tried many times to get it off without hope. any ideas?

(my other watches had slots that i could get a grip on to loosen them, but this on is being hard)

yeah I'll say never heard of them, they seem very very obscure. I cant seem to find a decent pic of one form the front let alone the back.

I would guess from the price point I would say they are pressed
