that reminds me of going parts hunting for VW stuff back like 20 years ago. we would go back east and to the southern states live georgia, SC, NC, Alabama, ETC and have to go through what seemed like a jungle to get to the cars and they would litterally be rusting into the ground, sometimes half of the car would be there from the middle of the doors up.

This kind of thing always breaks my heart. You get these loonies who buy up all these old/interesting cars because they think: (a) I'm going to restore them one day; or (b) they'll be worth a fortune one day. Then they just park them out in the open in a wet/grassy/muddy field until they're covered in mold and rusted into the ground. WTF is the point?
