dont want to jynx myself, but might be getting an apprenticeship...knock on wood

so i work two jobs, seven days a week.
detail cars at lexus weekdays, cook for a catering company weekends/nights.

found out the head technician is looking for an assistant, i talked to him and he basically said i'd be given grunt work and be the low man on the totempole. i'm down for that as long as i get to learn a trade.

told him i was trying to do UTI/wyotech/vocation school, but this seems soooo much better.

not trying to count my chickens before they hatch but he says he spoke to the VP and its looking good, a buddy i have is a mechanic there as well and said they just need to work some numbers...not sure what he meant, but hey, sounds good!

anyway wish me luck. who would have thought a dead end detailing job would get me a lead to something that i can make a carreer out of.

had to share my enthusiasm, /hoooplah.

Yeah he probably just wants someone to do some bullshit work to grab him some extra time while he works on the homerun cash tickets. Lmao.

I'm happy for you. just stay motivated, we all have to start somewhere!

I started the BMW european version of the STEP program when I was 32---- everyone else in the school was a max. age of 19. Yeah, I felt dumb, but went through the 4 years of it and have been working at the same dealership for years now.
