I grew up in the small town of Winnsboro, South Carolina, I moved there from upstate NY when I was 10, When I lived in NY, I had friends of all races, but when we moved down here, I began going to the local public school, the ratio at that school and the county was over 90% "minority" and I was one of the very few white children there, within several days, my life was a living hell, I was picked on and ridiculed, and on my 4th day of school, I was stabbed in the shoulder by a boy a year older than me. When he was questioned his reason on why he stabbed me was I was a "spoiled white boy" . After than incident, I began going to the local private school, the students there were mainly white, but there were also several african americans, indians, etc. The students there were a whole different type of people, they knew right from wrong, they had respect for people and property, I think it is more on how you were raised, your environment, than anything else, like said in the article aboved if you have lived you life relying on handouts from the gov. or others, then why change your way of life, no one wants to change their life in as some would see it a negative way, having to work when before you got for free. So I'm a manager of Wells Fargo Bank in Houston, and we're starting to see the "ripple effect" on crime attempts. And no, it's not just the blacks displaced from Katrina...there's a well backed Vietnamese mafia that's been trying to hit several locations since our "guests" have arrived. Houston will be shithammered with crime by Christmas, mark my words.
A funny aside...remember the Chapelle Show Slavery Reparations where the guy Tron won all the checks on a hand of dice?!?! We keep getting people bringing in the $2000 FEMA aid checks with other people's name and no endorsements on the back! I'm just waiting for Ashy Larry to drive by the Dome in a Virginia Slim truck!!Comment
