    Need accounting/accountants excel help!!

Hey guys, fresh out of college with a B.S. in accounting (yeah boring and stuff)

and I'm about to take a skills assessment quiz online for accounting/bookkeeper on excel. Does anyone have any quick tips and /or tricks? We didn't exactly take an excel class in college. Thanks for any help!

excel can do so much stuff. I used it all day everyday for years and still didn't scratch the surface. Can you do vlookups, if/then statements etc?

      vlookups?

we never had an entire semester class just for excel, the small amount we learned was a random day or two per semester doing a follow/step by step tutorial. But like I said any help would be awesome.

In all honesty the best thing you could do is go online and take some Excel tutorial. They are all over the internet and you can learn about a lot of new functions and formulas.

^^^ online tutorials will be your best bet. Its one of things that is easier to follow if you're watching someone else do.....and makes it quicker/easier if you use a mouse

yep, that's what I'm doing right now, there's just sooooo much excel can do. Anyone with accounting/book keeping experience have any used-all-the-time type functions or cheat card? I'm starting out with zero accounting experience over here.
