i know rovers first hand. My sister had a discovery, and it was really nice...but maintenance was a bitch. Something was always wrong with it.
Sleeve, I really like the idea of the tahoe or s10 blazer.
XJs are great, but for the lack of power and road/wind noise I'd rather the tahoe or blazer.Leave a comment:

They are a wonderful idea if your budget is well north of 3k, and can devote enough time to using them for non mall crawling duties and keeping up with their "quirkiness"Leave a comment:

I was being completely sarcastic. Land rovers are a terrible idea unless you are an old man and a BritLeave a comment:

Board and 5 : really guys a Rover of any kind??? Come on I love them as much as anyone, but for fucks sake reliable they are NOT, he prolly wants something that is semi reliable and wont be eating head gaskets ever other oil change and has shit on it that works.Leave a comment:

Full size Ford Bronco (early-mid 90's)
I had one, beat it hard, it handled it all in stride and kept going. Lot's of fun in the woods, good 4x4 action in the little bit of snow we got, and the top came off for summer time. Chicks loved itLeave a comment:
