Been in a similar situation... talking to an ex that you have feelings for (minimal or otherwise) can, IMO, actually help you to move on if you truly are happy in your current relationship. I did it this past weekend actually at my school's homecoming; If you think that after your three years apart you've both matured enough to have a conversation to smooth things over with her, you might find that after so much time apart you can just be happy for her wherever she is in her life currently. The reality of seeing how much the other person has gone through since your shared past helps tremendously in the 'closure' process I think.

right or wrong? I dont know, just my thoughts on the matter, either way good luck.

If my ex sent me a fb request I would accept it without thinking twice to see what would happen. Wouldn't mean I would ever ditch who I am with now to go back to her. I would just want to know what she still thinks for some reason. Kind of pointless but I know I wouldn't be able to help myself. Also my gf doesn't have my fb password, but she does have my r3v password.

    Depends on a few things.
    1. What is your ex after
    2. Have you already pre-meditated having sex with your ex?
Would you knowingly open a door that leads you to temptation? Lol
But hey, if your just adding her because she was part of your life in the past and your genuinly interested in what her life has become as friends, then hey more power to you.

So your minding your business happy in your current relationship, then bang you get a facebook friend request from a girl you haven't spoke to for over 3 years. You didn't break up on best of terms...but maybe you still have some feelings for her. Question is...would you accept or delete the request...bear in mind your current (awesome) girlfriend knows your password to facebook and she also would know that unique name requesting friendship without a PM message...add another dimension to the fold...my facebook name isn't my real name, Dean (and my surname) instead I have my name as a Dinosaur...Deanosaurous Rex to be precise...so she would really have to be looking for me to know that...oops you've guessed I'm in two minds. Current girlfriend love her to bits, check out girlfroend thread for my post, she is incredible, but my ex I feel minimal feelings for but maybe tgats because she was the girl i did everything with first and we did have some great times and shit times. My feeling is to let past be past but I dont know really...so here is the poll. Answer yes, no or delete. Leave reasons, love to hear them you guys are always open and honest.
The person in your life that you share these experiences with will almost always hold a special place in your heart but it is only that. There is no need to revisit that just to mess up what you have now. It will not be the same as it was then. Enjoy your memories and respect and enjoy your current GF.

I'm friends with one, and I blocked another...and these are long term relationships. One, she went nuts, then 3 months later wanted back in. I was dating the other chick by then, so BLOCK BITCH.

This other chick decided to roll on, but we're still friends. We don't really talk, but we have hung out and shit as friends, so we're cool. She just wasn't my type, and I've accepted that and moved on. No tension, anything.

Personally, if it was bad enough that you/she deleted her/you, ignore that shit. Block it by e-mail, and roll on.

Unless deletion occurred, I stay friends. This one chick is the only one I am not friends with and have blocked. All other are cool, and on occasion we'll talk, comment, etc, no big.
