We have electric bikes over here in Japan. My wife is seriously thinking of getting one for going up the hill at our new place. Basically the way it works is once it senses you are struggling the electric motor kicks in to give you a boost.

Got a bike. Got an 80cc motor.

Repacked the bearings in the wheels and installed the new rear sprocket. No pics :(

It's going to be chain driven...no more friction drive for me.

I'm also putting new headstuds in the engine and new nuts/bolts everywhere else....with loctite. These engines are known to have weak bolts/studs and strip whenever they get the chance. If I get the time tomorrow I will take some pics. ;)

That's a Triumph Daytona 600, not a Kawi. Triumph sold about a tenth what Kawi sells, if that.

Yup, put 12k miles on one, loved it.

Ever thought of using an electric motor? I wouldnt find a little 25cc devil screaming between my feet "enjoyable."

When did this happen? I purchased a '78 vespa last year and it is under 50cc so they told me it was an $18 dollar one time registration and neither insurance nor motorcycle license required.

any time i see one of these i wanna say "cool" but my impulse is to punch them for doing 30+ in the bicycle lane. If you wanna sound like a weed wacker while riding to class have at it, but when someone knocks you out; I'm on their side.

I might build a friction roller out of it, maybe on a bmw bike ;)

    I'm getting an 80cc 2 stroke soon.
