After a what was a great weekend with the Ex (she flew 1500 miles to see me) and her telling me how happy i make her, she loves me, and that doesn't want to be with anyone else I ask "then what are we/why are we not together" (i feel the same way about her). She basically tells me that even though she feels so strongly about me her mom does not like me and that bothers her. We are adults (granted young) but nonetheless adults, My mom hates where i live, is almost always mad at me for something and i still do what makes ME happy. WHY THE FUCK CANT SHE DO THE SAME? Sounds like she is pulling the comitment trick. She obviously want you but wants to make sure you will always be hers. So she tells you her mother dose like you (this maybe true or false).

Now you have two choices.

1. You give in try to change your ways so the in-laws like you (This option should only be take if you intend to marry this girl. No matter what you do, if you want to marry a women you will have to give her your balls, otherwise it will not work out)
2. Flop it out and give her the choice her the ultimatum. (Take this option if you don't see your self marring her. The relationship may last some time but eventually like all women she will wont to own your balls, and you will not put up with that shit.)
