if i end up swapping ill be boring out the lower end with goodies in there, and putting a trick valve train in it.
does anyone have any clue how much power you can get out of a NA m42?

so.
update on the tractor.
failed smog sept of 2013, was out of commission for a while till i had the funds to get a catback done this past november. got the catback done with 2.5 in piping, magnaflow cat, and a cheapy "dtm" style exhaust from amazomg (LOL)
passed smog, was running good for a few weeks.
traded the old momo for some taiwanese smileys, bought a new momo monte carlo 350mm, a little rougher in shape but gets the job done and much better than factory.
was getting ready to do the control arms new from febi, and put on the new brakes
then some schmuck decided to slash my rear tire, two new tires and two days later, started running like ass, misfiring and running on what seemed to be 2-3 cylinders, low on power, sounded like an air cooled beetle or a subaru boxer engine.
completely hit the shitter a few days later while driving it to the shop to see what was up, still havent taken it in, but i think it has to do with electrical, either the spark delivery system or some ground, the alternator is not charging the battery.
im gonna take a closer look at things tmw morning.
