My dad served from 1955 to 1976 in the air force. Two tours in vietnam as a side gunner in a heuy medivac. He was a E6/staff sergeant when he retired.

The WWII were the best generation, and all those who served after that were the best of they're generation.

Just got back from a wonderful Veteran's Day event with over 1400 veterans. 5 hours of volunteer work and a free lunch.

Both Grandfathers served in the war. 1 served as a Sargent in WW2.
