I live in La Jolla (go to UCSD) but I'm from the Bay area.
Back here in the bay until tomorrow night when I go back to San Deezy.

BTW CP Pomona? We have a house that I occasionally look after in DB, right by the Pomona border on Golden Springs.
That's dope we should have a meetup sometime we can get some guys together, always down to meet other e30 guys even though I'm not very active on here.

Yeah CPP! I live on the corner of temple and valley so pretty damn close to where the house in DB is! Couple r3v guys go there, I know for sure philip (m3clutch) and another dude I forgot his name go too.

I cant wait to be working nothing but my major classes. Fuck this core bullshit.
Are you going into Engineering? - electrical eng, better love physics 2.... ME better love physics 1.

Mastering Physics sucks..... however nothing is worse than Mastering Engineering.

FUCK. I was completely prepared for that test... I was entirely confident in my abilities to do any and every homework and example problem we went over in both class and the review session. But, the problems on the test were not only long as fuck, but also over concepts that were never exclusively discussed in class, in the review session nor in any of the homework. Sure, it was possible to logically think through it and arrive at a conclusion, but if you only give us 50 fuckin' minutes to complete this test that is made up entirely of this shit that you never fuckin' talked about we're not gonna have enough time... Good news is I wasn't that only one that realized this bullshit. /rant

I've had many of those shitty ass tests, professors won't stop doing that.

On the plus side, some of them realize they're asking you to apply things you've not used before, and are quite liberal with partial credit.

There's always one asshole though that won't give any though, and then wonders why the class average was a 43% on the test. Heat transfer was soooo much fun....

In my Physics classes everyone was doing poorly and we actually had a really good but stern professor. So at the end of the semester he tells us that our final exam grade is our grade. I had a c in the class, got a 99 on the final. Next semester he see's me in the hall and says, "this isn't going to be like last time, you're going to have to do well all year to pass this time."

SSDD and got a 96 on that final. Hahaha, pissing off teachers by doing extremely well is always a guilty pleasure.

This semester has been rough as fuck. Next semester will dope as hell.

What kind of internships did you do during your undergrad years, David?

worked at BMW in Munich for 10mo halfway through junior year, worked for aerospace company from soph year to/after bmw to graduation, then an engineering consulting company for the summer, now here.

All that plus FSAE and a bunch of other activities....pretty much wrecked my ability to sleep.

it's worked out pretty well though, highly recommend internships. They help out soooo much for applications and job callbacks.

^ That is sick! I'm thinking about trying my way into an internship at BMW.
Turns out they have a lot of internships available in various fields.
Looking into BMW Financial and BMW NA myself.

Anyone around here still doing FSAE? My team is clambering to get the car ready for rollout in a couple weeks.

Also, as a Physics major, I lucked out that my professors for the advanced classes don't use mastering physics. I've spent so long helping my roommates with their mastering physics homework only to find out they had the right answer, I wouldn't wish that fate on anyone.
