    Car shipping

I know I've seen a couple threads on this, but I'm lazy and in class on my iPhone and searching on tapatalk is a pain.

Who has experience shipping and which companies are the most affordable? Im moving from WA to KS in January and the cost of a trailer rental plus the extra gas I will use/wear on my truck will likely cost the same or more than shipping the car.

    Thanks in advance.

They tend to fuck up your car unless you go the enclosed / flat trailer route.

steer clear of DAS Dependable auto shippers. and dont take anyones word on current insurance,.. Make them show you.
This is a business that is run by gypsies and the likes of the K brothers. If you care about your car spend the money and get an enclosed carrier. Unless youre a typical r3v member. Then get a 12' nylon tow strap and pull it 80MPH behind the family 84 caprice

Go with a good private company, the best car shippers I've seen are just dudes with a pickup truck and a nice trailer. Not necessarily the cheapest route, but it's a more personal deal and they obviously care about what they're doing.
