To get that smooth finish you would need to use advantech plywood. One sheet is about 35...I believe you would need 3 sheets to make all three boxes.

Hey you kids aint gonna build one like that outa plywood. It needs to be out of cyprus or hard rock maple and clear. Tight grain, no knots. Cut on a table saw and belt sanded and put together with #20 biscuits. You really want one? you pm me and ill build you one but aint out of cheap plywood. and it wont be cheap. its will take my carpenter a day at least to build and and the next day clean up. Paint hell, it will have to be sprayed. The glass, i'll have to ask my glass sub. chucker
