you have to look at the whole picture. clarkson was not really be sarcastic, but his comment was over the top.
he was referring to the walkout of some of the UK Border Agency staff whose jobs are to secure the airports. if you listen to his interview he says something about how people are just walking through the gates without being checked. now think about all the terrorist attacks that have happened in GB over the past 30 years. not having the airports secured could mean civilians being killed and injured while drinking tea at the local cafe.
clarkson is right. if someone should be killed due to the walkout of security forces, then those who walked should be held accountable.
how many here remember when the U.S. air traffic controllers walked out on strike. president regan felt that this put the american public's safety at risk as well as the hurting the businesses that relied on air transport for their operations. like the great leader that he was he fired all of the walkouts and replaced them with military until new controllers could be trained and hired. this is what the UK's leaders should do, fire them all, and start with that large mouth bitch that has nothing better to do then promote herself by attacking clarkson.Last edited by tom d; 12-02-2011, 11:59 AM.Comment
