I'll be very interested when I can install ice cream sandwich on one. ICS actually looks pretty good, and the Kindle would be a good platform to fiddle with it. As it stands, though, I played with one for a little while, and frankly, I was surprised by how crap the interface is. It works, but it's not intuitive and it requires too many steps for basic things.

Its just too small for me. I had an iPad 1 when they came out and it was cool, but I just found less and less reason to keep owning it when I have a huge screen on my Android phone in my pocket that does the same stuff, and I can actually take it with me everywhere. And the Fire just didnt set me off like I thought it would. But with Ice cream sandwhich.... YESSS. Interesting. ALSO, Playbook with ICS?? YES.
Wiating on Windows 8 tablets....

they should have this rooted soon. i know a few guys already have cm7 installed on it already, they are just waiting for a good working recovery and roms for it. so just be patient and it'll probably be out within the next month or so knowing the devs over on xda.
