if I remember correctly at one point you were in culinary school, you cook, right?
I havent cut myself in a few years now, but I cut the tip of my index finger off the last time i got myself good. that shit bled for days. I duct taped a paper towel over it and managed to squeeze a glove on over and went back to work. Thinking back i should have probably gone to the ER hahaha

No shit, go down the your local hobby shop and buy a small bottle of thick and a bottle of thin, put them in the fridge. Clean cut, use the thin, hamburger, put pieces of paper towel over it and drip on the thick, armor plating baby.
Just make sure you clean it well and get the bleeding to stop before gluing yourself back together.

Yes. That is a real cut! I am happy I have never been cut that badly. I stabbed my self in the arm twice as a child trying to open a CD player package and a super soaker box. Those only needed maybe four stitches each though.sigpic

+1 on the superglue. I keep a bottle at work with me purely for this reason. Bleeding all over is very time consuming and inconvenient.
Finger tip cuts are always the worst though. You'll never know how much you use your finger tips until you get a cut on one of them and are CONSTANTLY bumping it into things.
Also, modern first aid for cleaning a wound is to use soap and water only. Using alcohol or hydrogen peroxide will just damage the wound worse and lengthen healing time (basically kills the skin around the wound).Comment
