    Gold Buillion?

So I am thinking about buying some small bars. Forecasts say that gold price should rise from about $1750 to $2200 in the next year, that is a %25 growth.

Anyone know much about this, any recommendations as to weather I should or should not buy?

    Cheers guys

Depends on how much you can afford. I almost bought some at the $1500-ish price a few months ago.

Invest invest invest. I'm investing all the money I make in the military in a gold mining operation. Gold is never a bad thing to buy. I would suggest coins though and buy from somebody reliable not the web

He's saying can you afford to loose money? If the market goes down then you might loose money on gold. It has not always been a rise everyday thing I can remember when it was $480 an ounce. That summer I bought two 100Gram kings chains while in Saudi out of 21K, sold one for the amount I paid for two. Profit was decent then.

Right I see what you mean. Well I would like to hold on to if for about a year. Basically looking to buy a house in year, thought this would help that deposit get bigger. But if there is a decline I am in no rush to sell I can wait longer if I must.

Silver. Silver is still under valued to gold in historic terms.

Historically 16 oz of silver would buy buy what 1 oz of gold would. As it sits right now, Silver has been hovering at about 30USD an oz, Gold at 1700USD Oz. Silver is way below this historic average that held true for centuries. Its only a matter of time till this ratio starts to correct at least a little bit.

I have been buying a little silver here and there ( a 100Oz at a time) since 2007 when it was trading at 9-13USD an Oz. If this average ever balances out to the historic average I will be able to buy a house in just the silver I have in the safe. LOL

lots of stuff says 2012 will see 100oz silver and 2200-2400oz gold. I would not hold my breath though we were supposed to see a big silver jump this year

Those who invest in this stuff (gold/silver/etc.)? Where do you buy? What are the good/reliable sources?
