Who else is home for winter break?

Fully stocked fridge, home cooking, and good booze all for free. Definitely looking forward to going back to school, but not looking forward to frozen food, cheap liquor, and a very boring fridge.

Been home for a week now. I feel like I haven't accomplished much: went to one kick-it, came home, and slept.
All I've been doing that sounds remotely fun is working out everyday. Most of my friends are still at school. 2 1/2 more weeks of laziness :D

Lucky for me im not lazy all day. Every break from school i put in 40-50 hour weeks at my step dads real-estate appraisal office to make as much money as possible before i go back to school. However, when i get home i sure do love a nice cocktail and good food.

I'm back home early to help move my sister into a new apartment. Finished up with audition season in NYC on Monday, hopped on a plane to Houston on Wednesday morning.

Luckily I work from home and am starting a second company so I have an extremely flexible schedule, despite working 50-60hours a week on average.

Yep, home for almost a month. It's been real nice, and I agree that the free booze and home cooking is legit.

Well I am heading for home weds afternoon for a 14 day break from work. Will be nice as I have spent the last 2 christmas's away from home working. And to get more than 5 days total off to include travel days was dam near an act of god.

thanks a week ago it was gonna be no time off but xmas day, and then all sudden it was 22-27. Then 20mins after I get my flights figured out I get a call and told I dont have to be back till the 5th. So yeah its going to be a decent holiday for me this year

One thing I miss most being away from home is the home cook meal! Everything else is meh but good food is where it's at! I've been home for the past few days trying to catch up on some sleep! About to start catching up on BF3, Dexter, finish up Lost, and hopefully prepare for Tough Mudder.

So what's everyone major at school (just curious and maybe perhaps we can help each other)?

mrsleeve, I really don't know how you do it. I thought it would be fun traveling for work all the time but after I tried it once, I don't think I can do it again for a while, especially if I were to have a family.

Oil/gas I build pipelines and Facilitates and gone for long stints at a time. Its tough at times, but we will see if will all be worth it in a few more years when I can semi retire and pick and chose my jobs, and only have to work 6 moths a year or less

Got a job as holiday help and it brought me back home 2 weeks ago. No place like home getting to sleep in a bed and getting yelled at by dad awesome haha

coming back home to fl from japan. im also going to visit nc. its gonna be a good little vacation.
